With a background in molecular biology and genetics, my current work lies at the interface of computational biology and bioinformatics, where I study complex biological systems. My research emphasizes the analysis of high-throughput sequencing data, the development of computational approaches to uncover regulatory mechanisms, and the translation of genomic information into biological insight.

Research Objectives

Databases, Pipelines, and Computational Tools

Developing and applying robust computational pipelines, algorithms, and databases is fundamental to modern bioinformatics. These resources ensure reliable management, integration, and analysis of large-scale omics datasets, enabling reproducible and transparent biological discovery.

Biomarkers and Translational Omics

Mining multi-omics data supports the discovery of molecular biomarkers and signatures with diagnostic, prognostic, and predictive value. Such approaches contribute to translational research and precision medicine by bridging experimental findings with clinical applications.

Gene Expression Dynamics

Dissecting transcriptional and post-transcriptional regulation provides insight into how cells establish and maintain identity, respond to environmental signals, and undergo pathological reprogramming. Mapping expression dynamics reveals mechanisms that underlie both normal physiology and disease.

Disease Mechanisms
